Connect with Nature: Five Nature Attractions in Cavite

Summer’s rolled in, and to breathe through the heat, we turn to nature. One of the nearest provinces you could go to – and perhaps even reside in, with its many house and lots – to get this much-needed fresh air is Cavite.

Cavite is a province well-known for all its historical background, as well as its
reasonably priced entertainment locations. Much of its green land is devoted to
golf courses, but in it, there are some great nature attractions. Here are a
handful of them:

1. Palsahingin Falls

Standing fifty feet tall, this is a waterfall gushing above four caves with glistening
stone formations, found in Kaytapos, Indang. It’s a long hike to get there, very much exhausting, but also very much worth it. Look at just how enchanting it is. And swimming is even allowed!

2. Mt. Palay-Palay & Mt. Mataas Na Gulod

For hiking enthusiasts, here’s a pair of extinct volcanoes! They are a part of the
Palay-Palay mountain range, which borders between Cavite and Batangas. Since it is the last remaining lowland rainforest, it’s considered to be a national park, with a game refuge and a bird sanctuary. The closest city from these mountains is Tagaytay; so from there, it is accessible via the new Ternate-Nasugbu mountain road.

3. Balite Falls

Found in Amadeo Cavite, this is a pair of falls, with one that flows naturally, clear
and strong, and the other supplied with bamboo tubes to aid the water flow.
It’s high enough to jump from, without injury, and most of it is shallow, for
the kids. A reasonably-priced resort has been formed from this nature
attraction, with cottages for rent. To get there, however, will take a bus and
two jeepney rides.

4. Malibiclibic Falls

In Aguinaldo, Cavite, this hidden waterfall can be found near the foot of Mt.
Mataas na Gulod. It was formed as the outcome of the merging among three
rivers, the water gushing from a hundred-meter high cliff. It’s accessible by
hiking a steep descent from one of its green lands, another grueling hike.
Nonetheless, like all the other nature attractions here, it is very much worth
it; you can all swim afterwards. Just be careful during the rainy season! The
waters become murky, and the boulders slippery.

5. Flower, Vegetable and Coffee Farms

A lot of farms can be found in Tagaytay City, along the slopes of Tagaytay Ridge.
Here, there are numerous greenhouses, growing a great variety of flowers and
plants, as well as organic vegetable farms.  It’s a beautiful sight, just
fields and fields of plant life. And it’s only a ten-minute drive away from
Aguinaldo highway!

Aren’t you even a little attracted to nature now? These are great attractions to
cherish what Mother Nature has offered us, and they’re all very accessible when
residing in a

Cavite house and lot. So, take a day, and have a peaceful moment with her; better yet, connect with her. She’s sure to enjoy your company as well.
